Specifying Window Placement
Location of the Window
Regardless of any printing on your envelope, hold the envelope so the flap is at the top. In this position, measure the window from the left and from the bottom.
Direction of the Window
The direction of the window is determined by which dimension is written first. For example, if the window is horizontal, the size should be written as 1” x 4” (figures A and C). If the window is vertical, the size should be written as 4“ x 1” (figures B and D). If you are unsure about the placement or measurement of a window, consult your Priority Envelope sales or customer service representative.
